Welcome
Queer City Blackfolx is for the queer Black Diaspora. It is a place for us to find each other for support and community, especially those of the trifcta of Black and Queer and Trans.
Under Construction
This site is currently under construction. Mind the dust!
What's Here?
- Resources: Zines, articles, websites, projects, and more that could be of help for you!
- Directory: Black and BIPOC groups and services to join.
- Alternatives: Other options for common services, as well as starting points for privacy and information sovereignty.
- Calendar: a list of a few holidays and famous birthdays we celebrate.
- More: Other items of interest, including material created by our members.
Connect
At first, it was to be a curated list: to give attention to the Black, Queer, and Trans groups already up and running. But we have grown to be a casual social group.
So far, we are most active on Discord. There is also a Spacehey Group for the more old-school (think: classic MySpace).
We meet up offline, too! We connect at events, support local missions, and just hang out at chill places like the library or archive coffeeshop. Check out our Calendar for what we're up to!

No Facebook? No Instagram? And no Twitter?!
The QCB will never be on those platforms. Meta and Twitter have a history of being anti-Black, and have only become worse over time. I want to bring energy into spaces that do not abuse marginalized identities.
