Queer City Blackfolx, or The QCB, was created with this in mind: So queer people of the Black diaspora can find and uplift each other. Furthermore, the support of transgender and gender-diverse individuals is of upmost priority.

"Slower"?

I believe that we need to give energy to spaces that do not abuse or tear us down, while being informed by privacy and data sovereignty. Not only should we be more mindful of the places we're in, but I want the spaces we build to thrive.

You will not find The QCB on more mainstream platforms for this reason: no Meta, Twitter, or other spaces that do not consider their more vulnerable people. There is also a more "smallweb" focus as I prioritize qenuine, intentional connection and community.
