About The QCB

Queer City Blackfolx is for the queer Black Diaspora. It is a place for us to find each other for support and community, especially those of the trifcta of Black and Queer and Trans.

That, basically, the gist of it. But as Queer City Blackfolx grows, so do the nuances behind that statement.

Curated Lists

This began as a curated list: to give attention to the Black, Queer, and Trans groups/events already up and running. Additionally, I wanted to highlight software and online spaces that were specifically "FUBU" and actually gave a shit about LGBTQ/Queer people. And then I grew more concerned with data sovereignty...

And I wanted to share it all.

Casual Social Group

We will find each other, and we well share resources and other safe spaces. We can also accompany each other to events, in solidarity and joy.

We've also grown to be a casual social group of its own merit, even if it is just to talk to one another. We hang out offline and online!

The Black Smallweb

I believe that we need to give energy to spaces that do not abuse or tear us down. Not only should we be more mindful of the places we're in, but I want the spaces we build to thrive.

About The Webmaster

I guess this is where I talk about myself.

Hej, I'm Albi. I'm the person behind all of this, and trying really hard not to just copy-and-paste from what I've already written abouot myself!

I've been online for awhile, self-taught the basics of Web design. I've always loved the self-expression, resource-sharing, and connecting the Internet enables-- despite capitalism doing its darndest to ruin that. I've been an avid blogger since the early 2000s.

Hobbies include writing, reading a lot of science fiction, and rambling about nostalgic topics or catching up on everything I've missed.

You can find more about me on my personal site, The Albinanigans!
